Lorne Foreshore Caravan Park, Lorne

My stay at this park was good, with decent views of the ocean from our campsite in the Queens Park area. The staff were really welcoming, but I found the facilities lacking, especially the cleanliness and overall maintenance of the amenities. While the cooking facilities were adequate for BBQs, the absence of a proper kitchen was a bit disappointing. I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, especially during the schoolies week, but ultimately, it felt a bit overpriced for the quality provided.

The Lorne Foreshore Caravan Park has some nice features like pet-friendly sites and a peaceful location near the beach. However, the high fees for the basic amenities and unclean facilities were disappointing, making it feel more like a rip-off than a great value.

I had a mixed experience at the park hotel. The location is fantastic, right across from a supermarket and close to the river walk. However, the cleanliness of the cabin left much to be desired, and for the price, I expected better maintenance and service. The cabin was small but had everything we needed for a short stay, and while it wasn't perfect, it was a decent budget option.
